Leather

Leather Depot guarantees that all leathers used are 100% top grain. Leather Depot warrants your leather for 5 years against splitting, and natural scars from opening. During the first year from the date of delivery, Leather Depot warrants against cracking, peeling and premature fading under normal household usage. As with any quality natural product, leather requires proper care and maintenance to ensure long life and beauty. Using product developed specially for its care, leather should be regularly cleaned and conditioned (at least once every six months) to preserve its appearance and texture, and to help prevent damage caused by the effects of drying and dirt buildup. Failure to clean and condition leather could result in premature aging, a shortened life and possibly void the terms of this warranty. Using cleaners and conditioners not formulated for the specific grade of leather could cause direct damage and void the terms of this warranty. Ask your retail specialist for information about obtaining the proper products. Each piece of leather is distinctive. Natural markings, such as barbed wire nicks, healed scars, neck and leg wrinkles, healed insect bites and brands, are all natural hallmarks of leather. These are proof that only real cowhide leather has been used. Because each cowhide is unique and distinctive, Leather Depot does not guarantee that any leathers used on showroom floor samples, leather swatches, furniture previously purchased, or repairs, will match in color, grain or texture.

This warranty does not include coverage for wrinkling, placement of natural marks, stretching, variations in color, grain, texture or improper cleaning and care of leather or claims due to burns, cuts, or pet damage, spills (such as acids, solvents, dyes or other corrosive chemicals), ink, markers, paint, body oils, or body fluids.

Frame

Leather Depot warrants your frame for life against defects in material and workmanship. If your frame ever breaks under normal household usage, we will fix it free of charge.

Foam

Leather Depot warrants your foam for 5 years against tearing or collapsing due to defects in material or workmanship. We advise the Purchaser that softening of cushion, the result of normal use, should not be confused with loss of resiliency due to defects in construction or materials.

Suspension System

Leather Depot warrants your suspension for life against tearing or separating from the frame under normal household usage.

Stitching

Leather Depot warrants your stitching for 5 years against defects in materials and workmanship, tearing or separating from the leather under normal household usage.

Breather Cloth & Velcro (where applicable)

Leather Depot warrants your breather cloth & velcro for 5 years against defects in workmanship and materials under normal household usage.

Metal Mechanisms (where applicable)

Leather Depot warrants your metal mechanisms for 3 years against defects in workmanship and materials under normal household usage.

Warranty Claims

This warranty applies to the Original Purchaser, and the Original Purchaser must provide proof of purchase when making a claim under this warranty. This warranty covers only replacement parts and labor. Leather Depot will repair or replace, at its sole option. If identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair, Leather Depot reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality.

This warranty does not include commercial, contract, rental trade, institutional or other non-residential usage. Leather Depot shall in no event be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, including loss of time, usage or money, and in no event shall the responsibility of Leather Depot exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement.
